Sean “Diddy” Combs was spotted looking stressed and solemn outside of his Miami home on Saturday, following the explosive settlement of the rape and abuse lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.
In photos obtained by Page Six, the music mogul appeared visibly distressed as he sat outside his home, dressed casually in a T-shirt and sweatpants. Combs was seen with his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, who showed him something on her cell phone before he decided to lie down on the outdoor couch. He was also spotted taking a long phone call and pacing around his estate.
These photos mark the first sighting of Combs since Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed her bombshell lawsuit on Thursday, accusing him of years of physical, sexual, and mental abuse. In the court documents, Ventura alleged that Combs forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he watched and masturbated, in addition to physically abusing her and supplying her with drugs at 19 years old.
Despite denying the claims through his attorney, Ben Brafman, Combs swiftly settled the lawsuit just 24 hours after it was filed. Both parties released separate statements noting that they reached an agreement “amicably.”
Combs’ lawyer later emphasized that the settlement is not an admission of guilt, stating, “a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”
The lawsuit and subsequent settlement have undoubtedly taken a toll on Combs, as he was seen visibly distressed in the aftermath of the high-profile legal dispute. Reps for Combs did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the recent events.
As the music industry continues to grapple with such allegations, this settlement raises questions about the power dynamics and abuse that may exist behind the scenes.
