Ubisoft has just released the first season of Rainbow Six Siege Year 8. The new content introduces Brava, a Brazilian operator, as well as major gameplay updates, such as a more immersive reload update, anti-toxic measures, and the Mousetrap resource, which will be released later and will serve to identify and punish players who use mouse and keyboard. in console games.

Other anti-toxicity measures include a new reputation penalty for abusive speech in voice chat. Muted players can still use the communication feature, but will only be heard by players who manually “unmute” them.
In Year 8, Rainbow Six Siege focuses on cementing its position as a high-intensity tactical shooter where intentional action, precision, and creative tactics are the keys to success. Therefore, a new reloading system aims to create a more immersive experience, where reloading decisions are more impactful. From now on, interrupting the animation at that point will leave the player empty, while bolt-action weapons will have a single bullet to use while reloading. New integration features are also coming this season to help players new to Rainbow Six Siege: Beginner Challenges and Operator Specialties, which identify each character’s playstyle, as each character has one or two verifiable specialties in the phase. in the “Operators” section and in the operator guides. These challenges are meant to help beginners learn the various skills of operators and how they contribute to the game. By completing beginner challenges, users can receive rewards, including from the operator itself.
