Sebastian Jarl is royal blue / Vålerenga

by time news

Vålerenga and Kristiansund BK agree on a transfer for Sebastian Jarl. The goalkeeper had half a year left on his contract with the club from Nordmøre, but now he is in a place he has always dreamed of.

– I’m an Oslo boy who has followed Vålerenga all my life, and finally it suits me to wear the royal blue suit. I’m really happy about it, and it’s a dream come true, Jarl says and continues:

– I am a player with a lot of pressure and power, and I like to use my body for what it is worth. I like to show presence and go forward a bit in the duel game, so I want to take a bit when I come in here, he says.

The 24-year-old has signed a deal until 2027, and is ready to play when Vålerenga meet Start in Kristiansand on Saturday evening.

Sporting manager Joacim Jonsson is very happy with the fourth signing of the spring, and he is proud of the boy who is now entering the doors at Oslo East.

– Sebastian has had a very good spring season behind him in Kristiansund, and was one of their best players. He has a great training culture, which is something we focus on when we bring in new players. The Oslo boy is, in his prime, the fourth player to enter the gates in this window, and like the others, he is someone we will enjoy for many years to come, says Jonsson.

We warmly welcome Sebastian to Vålerenga!
