Sebastian Ofner (ATP No. 38) was eliminated from the ATP 250 tournament in Cordoba.

Sebastian Ofner in Kitzbühel
Ofner clearly lost to Italian qualifier Luciano Darderi 0:6, 3:6 in round 2. “Ofi” was seeded fourth here and had a bye in round 1.
Against Darderi, currently number 136 in the world, Ofner gave up his first serve game to zero, and the Italian managed two more breaks to win the set easily. In the second round, Ofner stayed in the game until 2:2, but then conceded the decisive break to make it 2:4. Shortly later, Darderi used his third match point to win.
Ofner was the only starter from Austria in Cordoba.
