(ANSA) – LECCE, 29 AUG – Second case of legionella at Vito Fazzi in Lecce. After that of a patient hospitalized in Infectious Diseases who tested positive but asymptomatic, the second case was recorded in a patient hospitalized in the Oncology department.

In the Medical Oncology Department – it is reported – the water is regularly and daily flushed, as per the Medical Management Protocol, with periodic checks and possible replacement of the antibacterial filters by specialized companies appointed by the Medical Management. (ANSA).
