Dutchwoman Marianne Vos won the second stage of the women’s Tour of Scandinavia on Wednesday in Sweden and retained her first place in the general classification.

The 35-year-old triple world champion won this 154 km stage between Orust and Strömstad in the sprint, ahead of Sweden’s Emilia Fahlin and Italy’s Barbara Guarischi.

The Dutchwoman is one of the favorites of the competition, of which this is the first edition. High profile in the recent Women’s Tour de France where she won the points classification, Vos took her 244th road victory.

The riders will cover 119 km between Moss and Sarpsborg in Norway on Thursday for the third stage.
