The Ecuadorian marcher Daniel Pintado had an outstanding performance in the traditional “Dudinska 50” competition that took place in Slovakia.
With a time of 1h19:44, Pintado crossed the finish line in second place in the 20 km, surpassed only by the Peruvian César Rodríguez, who registered a time of 1h19:41. Rodríguez and Pintado gave us a spectacular duel with the Peruvian winning by just 3 seconds.
Daniel Pintado is preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (he is already classified), being one of Ecuador‘s main cards for a possible medal in the French capital.
The “Dudinska 50” is a competition corresponding to the World Athletics Race Walking Tour calendar, serving this year as preparation for the Paris Olympic event.
