With these words the president of Confindustria nautica and of the boat shows, Saverio Cecchi, opened the online press conference dedicated to the trend of the sector and updates on the 61st Genoa Boat Show, which will be held in the Ligurian city from 16 to 21 September next.
“When the works on the Levante Waterfront are completed (with the redevelopment project signed by Renzo Piano, ed) we will have the most beautiful salon in the world – commented Cecchi – but already last year, for having organized the Salone on our own 2020 in full pandemic, we have won the European boat show championship “.
“Today as an association we have grown, we have 6,600 members and the moment is favorable for the entire supply chain, with the market trend growing by 20% we will be one of the engines that will revive the country, also by encouraging nautical tourism”, concluded the manager.
