Together with the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilarand the head of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Márquez, the table of the State Organizing Committee of the 49th edition of the Mexico Tourism Market 2025.
Also accompanied by the entity’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguiniga Rodriguez; and the municipal president of Playas de Rosarito, Araceli Brown Figueredo, the head of the Tourism Secretariat (Sectur) recalled that Governor Avila Olmeda received the baton at the close of the 48th edition of the Tianguis Turístico México in Acapulco, which was proof that, in the face of adversity, the tourism sector knows how to respond with intelligence and strength.
He said that despite the difficulties that the port went through after Hurricane Otis, there were positive results, including: 1,115 buyers from 833 companies43 countries including Mexico, 2,572 exhibitors from 1,043 companies and 35,748 business meetings.
Torruco He stressed that the 49th edition will shine in all its splendor and will mark a milestone in the history of this event by being the first binational one.
Baja California has unbeatable attractions such as the beaches of Rosarito; whale watching in Ensenada; the vineyards of Guadalupe Valley; La Rumorosa, an impressive natural setting; and spectacular dunes, ideal for off-road sports activities, including Baja 500 and Baja 1000, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
