The secular Janata Dal has officially joined the BJP’s National Democratic Alliance, marking a significant development in Indian politics. This partnership comes after the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, in which the Congress and Majda formed an alliance and contested against the BJP.

We wholeheartedly welcome them to the National Democratic Alliance. It will further strengthen the National Democratic Alliance and reinforce Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘New India, Strong India’.”
