Security and development: diaspora entrepreneurs support the actions of the Transition
Ouagadougou, July 7, 2023 (AIB) – The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORÉ granted, on Friday afternoon, an audience to a delegation of entrepreneurs and businessmen from the Burkinabè diaspora present in Ouagadougou as part of the diaspora entrepreneurs forum.
The delegation came to thank the President of the Transition for the support it received in the context of the organization of its forum which was held on July 6 and 7, 2023.

During the forum, entrepreneurs and businessmen from the diaspora worked on several panels around the difficulties they encounter and their possible support for the actions of the Transition.
The delegation therefore asked the Head of State to support the entrepreneurs of the diaspora “through reforms that allow the diaspora to bring back its intellectual, material and financial investment”, declared the head of the delegation and President of the Committee organizer of the forum, Romuald Sawadogo.
“We are part of the dynamic of a useful entrepreneurship that can impact the lives of populations so that they have greater purchasing power”, he underlined.
The diaspora, throughout the world, has already contributed in kind and in cash to the efforts of the authorities for the return of peace and security in Burkina Faso.
And this meeting is a testimony of this contribution, according to Mr. Sawadogo. because it is a question of seeing what can be done for the sovereignty of our country, through entrepreneurship.
