The first pilot of its kind in Israel of fences with solar panels, is currently being set up in Moshav Noam near Kiryat Gat by the Tralite company, which is establishing renewable energy projects throughout Israel. The company estimates that this is a market with an estimated potential of about 500 megawatts installed that can provide about 740 gigawatt hours of green and clean electricity per year, equivalent to two medium-sized power plants. The project is already receiving a great deal of interest among various government ministries, including the Ministry of Internal Security and the Israel Police.
Traalite, combined with the movement of seats, promotes engagements in this area in front of hundreds of seats belonging to the movement. The company also identified the potential, in light of the increase in demand for electric vehicles, and installed charging stations for electric vehicles from EV Motors on the fence in Moshav Noam, which supply electricity to vehicles parked nearby and for the benefit of the residents.
