Security Arrangements Committee receives several sites on Al-Sawani Road

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Security Arrangements Committee has taken over several sites on Al-Sawani Road, in continuation of implementing the new security plan.

The handed over sites included the headquarters of the General Company for Water and Sanitation, which was received from the Security Threats Control Agency and fully handed over to the company’s representative.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Interior, the committee also received the headquarters of the Research and Development Department of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, from the Security and Security Centers Department, indicating that it was handed over to the Military Police Department.

The ministry explained that the military clothing factory was closed, in addition to plots of land owned by a citizen, and their files were referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for action.

The Ministry of Interior also announced on Tuesday that the Supreme Committee for Security Arrangements had received a number of headquarters in the central Tripoli municipality.

The Minister of Interior, head of the Security Arrangements Committee, Imad Trabelsi, announced at the beginning of the week the launch of a plan to secure the capital, which consisted of three tracks: the return of all security formations to their headquarters and the evacuation of armed manifestations from them, the restriction of security gates and checkpoints on the roads to the components of the ministry, in addition to the security of the Interior Ministry personnel for the general headquarters and state institutions.
