Arrest wanted in Nablus sector. A short time ago, Border Guard raiders, along with additional MGB and IDF soldiers, operated in Kfar Salem in the Nablus sector, directing the General Security Service to arrest a wanted terrorist operative.
The Palestinians report that the target is Abdel Salam Issa, an officer in the military intelligence of the Palestinian Authority.
According to the MGB announcement, MGB agents entered the village and arrested the wanted man at his home. During the search they conducted on him, the undercover agents seized a gun, 2 cartridges and matching ammunition.
The requested together with the findings were transferred to the General Security Service for investigation.
No unusual events were recorded in the activity and there were no casualties to our forces.
