Responsibilities of the Role

The Security Guard – Unarmed Facility Patrol position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing customer service through adherence to security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies.
  • Responding to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, following established protocols.
  • Conducting regular and random patrols of the aerospace and defense location, encompassing both interior and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observing and reporting any unusual activities or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • supporting access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborating with team members and site personnel to ensure a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or the military is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
