Responsibilities of the Role
The Security Guard – Unarmed Facility Patrol position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Providing customer service through adherence to security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies.
- Responding to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, following established protocols.
- Conducting regular and random patrols of the aerospace and defense location, encompassing both interior and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observing and reporting any unusual activities or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- supporting access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for reporting purposes.
- Collaborating with team members and site personnel to ensure a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or the military is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
