Compared to previous months, the number of petty crime episodes in Borgo Stazione in Udine decreased in August. This was certified in recent days by the commander of the local police Eros Del Longo.
In addition to cutting hedges, which was necessary to eliminate possible hiding places for drugs and improper weapons, the Municipality will focus on eliminating flower boxes and installing anti-intrusion bins.
The spotlight will also be on Sant’Osvaldo, where Toffano will meet with residents to discuss the security problems that have occurred in the neighborhood.
Finally, the public gardens of the city, starting from those of Torso, where groups of foreigners, minors or just adults, have been reported, drinking alcohol and smoking. In some cases, they even chased away parents and children. Many shards of glass were found in the garden.
In addition to the controls, the Municipality intends to increase initiatives in the gardens and thus make them less attractive to these people.
