The debutant of the Olympic Games fought for a place among nine finalists in the competition of 12 athletes.

Seebold showed a lot of tricks in the first race of the qualification and showed a high score, earning 84.60 points for his performance. The second race for the Ventspils was also successful and additional nuances allowed to improve the result – he got 85.29 points.

On average, the Latvian athlete accumulated 84.94 points and secured at least ninth place in the qualification.

BMX freestyle debuted in the Olympic Games program in 2021 in Tokyo, and Sēbolds is the first representative of Latvia in the Olympic Games in this sport.

The Olympic Games will take place in the French capital until August 11, and not only in the French capital, but also in 16 other places, including the French overseas territory of French Polynesia. The Games program includes 32 sports and 329 sets of medals will be distributed.
