DIG/ According to official data from the Ministry of Economy and Participations, the Gabon Energy and Energy Company achieved a turnover of 227.3 billion FCFA in 2022, driven by the good performance of the low voltage segment and water sales.
Value added has increased significantly by 30.5% to 87 billion FCFA, linked to cost control.
On the other hand, investments fell by 18% to stand at 17.2 billion FCFA.
They were used to the purchase of new meters, the purchase and installation of a 2MVA thermal unit in Makokou, the securing of the production site of the Franceville factory and the renewal of the SEEG automobile fleet (purchase of 200 vehicles).
The workforce and payroll were consolidated respectively by 8.8% and 5.1% compared to 2021, following the recruitment of agents.
