DIG/ After more than 3 years of endless waiting, SEEG has just announced the imminent deployment of 23,000 electricity meters.
“We can objectively announce the imminent deployment of a stock of 23,000 new prepayment meters, which will gradually reduce the volume of customers waiting for connections,” a company source told us.
But while waiting for the launch of this campaign, a first stock of 1000 EDAN meters is being deployed in Greater Libreville and within the country.
This operation gives priority to customers whose wait dates back at least three years.
According to internal sources, the shortage of meters experienced by SEEG results from a combination of factors linked both to the cash flow tensions that the company is currently experiencing, but also to the difficulties in supplying kits on the Asian market where it sources its supplies.
