The Secretary of Education of Guerrero (SEG) reported this Saturday afternoon, through a statement, about the resumption of the school activities and face-to-face administrative activities in all public and private schools in the state.
“In follow-up to the preventive measures agreed upon by the State Council of Civil Protection, due to the effects caused by the Hurricane John and the Tropical Depression Eleven-Ethe SEG reports that face-to-face school and administrative activities are resuming in all public and private schools at all educational levels…”, the statement reads.

He also reported the return to activities of all the central administrative offices and in all the delegations, regions and municipalities of the State, starting next Monday October 14.
The exception in the resumption of activities only includes those schools that still present some health risk or total mobility impediment for students and teachers; as well as in schools that still function as shelters.

At the same time as the announcement, the secretariat also reported that both the head of the federal Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Mario Delgadoas well as the representative of the State Secretary of Education, continue to carry out tours to account for the damage to schools damaged by Hurricane John.
Parents, teachers, volunteers and school directors carried out cleaning days in all educational centers in the state, to guarantee a safe return to classes this coming Monday.
