National Scholarship Fair 2024 in Guatemala City
The National Scholarship Fair 2024organized by the Secretariat of Planning and Programming of the Presidency —SEGEPLAN—is an event aimed at all Guatemalans who are looking for opportunities to continue their higher educationboth abroad and at home. In its 23rd edition, the fair promises to be an essential platform to connect students with a wide variety of educational options, from Bachelor’s degrees until PhDs y short courses.
At a press conference held at the National Palace of Culture, SEGEPLAN announced the details of this event, whose main objective is to facilitate access to higher education for all Guatemalans. It will be a great opportunity to learn about study programs in various areas, from social sciences to engineering, including arts and humanities.
More than 600 scholarships available in more than 20 countries
The event will feature over 600 training opportunities offered by more than 30 partner agencies from around the world. These include scholarships for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorates and short courses, covering a wide range of disciplines and areas of study.
Attendees will be able to interact directly with the various collaborators who offer the scholarships, who will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on the requirements, application processes, among other concerns.
Access for all: in-person and virtual
This year, the 2024 National Scholarship Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the facilities of the Guatemalan Tourism Institute —INGUAT—, located at 7a. Avenida 1-17, Zone 4 of Guatemala City. One of the great advantages is that the Admission is freeensuring that anyone interested can attend.
