Seine-Saint-Denis: first painful step for the merger between Saint-Denis and Pierrefitte

Two and a half hours of stormy debates on one side. Everything adds up to three hours of discussions, no less stormy, on the other. This Thursday evening, the first test was passed in pain for the proposed merger between Saint-Denis and Pierrefitte. The wish for the launch of the process was adopted in the two cities of Seine-Saint-Denis, during an unprecedented evening where two extraordinary municipal councils were organized simultaneously, at 7 p.m. The two municipalities wish to join forces to create a new municipality which would become, by flirting with the 150,000 inhabitants, the largest in Île-de-France after Paris.
