The manga “Cells at Work!” which personifies cells and features a novel and unique setting, is being adapted into a live-action film. The fourth installment of the film ‘Cells at Work!’ has announced its cast, revealing that Fukase from SEKAI NO OWARI will appear in it, showcasing the “world’s smallest story” taking place inside the human body on the largest scale in Japanese cinema.
Fukase made his acting debut in the film ‘Character’ in a shocking role as a serial killer, winning the New Actor Award at the 45th Japan Academy Awards and the Newcomer Award at the Hochi Film Awards. In this second film, Fukase will play the strongest enemy of the cells, but his character’s name remains a mystery at this point, listed as “?????”.
With an unbelievably luxurious cast that features everyone as a lead, the largest battle in the history of the body, the film ‘Cells at Work!’ will be nationwide released on December 13.
