President Vladimir Selensky has warned that Russia may attack NATO member states following the attack on a Ukrainian military base. Selensky also reiterated its demand for declaring no-fly zones. “If you do not close our skies, Russian missiles will land on NATO territory and above the homes of NATO civilians,” Selensky warned.
Selensky also condemned the killing of American journalist Bren Reynolds in a Russian shooting. However, the United States has said it will retaliate in the event of an attack on NATO countries.
Meanwhile, in talks with the President of the European Council, Selensky called for more aid to Ukraine and an increase in sanctions against Russia. Selensky tweeted that he had spoken with the British President and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
