After capping gasoline prices to cope with inflation, the government pulled out the card of selling fuel at a loss. But “compensation” is planned for independent service stations, the professional union Mobilians announced in the evening.

The Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of Energy Transition Agnès Pannier-Runacher and the Minister Delegate in charge of SMEs, Commerce and Crafts Olivia Grégoire have committed to putting in place a “support plan traditional service stations”, including in particular “compensation measures”, announced in a press release the union, which represents 5,800 service stations excluding supermarkets, “welcoming” their “listening”.
