BANDARLAMPUNG – Kemiling Polsek, Bandar Lampung Police together with members of the local linmas managed to thwart drug transactions of this type sabu .

The perpetrator with the initials AT (27), a resident of Jalan Purnawirawan, Langkapura District, Bandarlampung City, was successfully secured not far from his residence on Monday (15/5/2023) evening.

Head of the Kemiling Police Ipda Agus Heriyanto said the arrest of the perpetrator by Bhabinkamtibmas Gunung Terang Village Bripka Rozali together with members of the linmas started from the suspicions of its members regarding the movements of the perpetrators around the location of the arrest.

“Information regarding the suspected movements of the perpetrator was first notified by the local Linmas to Bhabinkamtibmas Gunung Terang Urban Village, then Bripka Rozali immediately came to the location,” said Ipda Agus, Thursday (18/5).

Agus said, in his action, AT was selling crystal methamphetamine online. After getting the order, AT then places the ordered goods in accordance with the agreement between the perpetrator and the prospective buyer.

When AT was placing methamphetamine on the side of the road, said Agus, he was seen by an linmas officer who immediately contacted Bripka Rozali as Bhabinkamtibmas to come to the location.

“So Bhabinkamtibmas and Linmas waited for almost 3 hours near the location where the perpetrators placed the illicit goods, hoping to find out who would take the goods,” said Agus.

He continued, after waiting for almost 3 hours, then AT came and took the item back. It didn’t take long for the officers to arrest the perpetrators who had tried to escape.

During the search, he continued, in the perpetrator’s bag they found 16 small packages of crystal methamphetamine and 1 glass of pyrex.

“Maybe the buyer didn’t dare to take the item because he saw someone around the location, so in the end the item was taken again by the perpetrator,” said Agus.
