The third-seeded Latvian/Serbian pair lost 5-7, 6-4, 6:10 to hosts Džeimi Furlī and Petra Huli (4th) in a fierce battle for the title.

Semenistaja/Stajanoviča started the match with a won game on the opponent’s serve, but already in the second game the Australians reached 1-1. In the continuation of the first set, the pairs won on their serve until the 12th round, until the home team reached 7-5.

At the beginning of the second set, the Latvian/Serbian duo trailed 0-4, but managed to win six games in a row, achieving a balance in the match.

In the super tiebreak, the home team took a 5-0 lead, Semenistaja/Stajanoviča managed to get closer to 6-8, but the Australians won the last two games and won the title.

For reaching the final, Semenistaya earned 81 WTA doubles ranking points.

It has already been reported that in singles, Semenistaja, who is ranked 119th in the WTA ranking and was seeded fourth in the tournament, lost 2-6, 1-6 to the Swiss Zimon Waltertei (WTA 174th), who overcame the qualification.
