SEML IBBL Shariah Fund will not pay dividend

The committee of trustees of SEML IBBL Shariah Fund, listed in the mutual fund sector of the capital market, has announced non-disbursement of dividend to unitholders.

This decision has been taken for the unitholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024.

On Thursday (August 15), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).

The dividend decision was taken after reviewing and approving the last year’s audited financial report at the fund’s trustee committee meeting held earlier on Wednesday (August 15).

The record date for distribution of declared dividend to unitholders has been fixed on September 8.

During the year under review the loss per unit (EPU) of the mutual fund stood at Rs (0.64), as compared to the profit per unit (EPU) of Rs 0.24 in the same period of the previous financial year. In the financial year ended June 30, 2024, the net asset value per unit (NAVPU) of the fund at market value was Tk 9.38.

AIIMS of Bangladesh Asset Limited is acting as the asset manager of the fund.
