Sempra appoints Abraham Zamora as new president

At the company Sempra Infrastructure announced to Abraham Zamora as the new president for the division in Mexico.

In this role, Zamora will be responsible for positioning the group in Mexico’s energy sector.

Abraham joined the firm in 2018 and has a recognized professional career spanning more than 25 years in the public and private sectors in public affairs, infrastructure development and financing, international relations and sustainability activities.

“Abraham’s extensive experience will continue to drive our strategy for
develop energy infrastructure that can contribute to the energy security of Mexico, as well as the energy transition,” commented Tania Ortiz Mena, president of Sempra Infrastructure.

“I am confident that under his leadership, our company will continue to deliver infrastructure solutions to meet Mexico’s energy needs, while furthering our commitment to generating shared prosperity in the communities to which we belong.”.

Currently, Zamora is president of the Mexican Energy Association,
Advisor to the Institute of the Americas, Council of the Americas, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and member of the Advisory Board of the Center for United States-Mexico Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
