“Nguyet Thu Hy Ky” was composed by musician Lang Lap based on his childhood memories every Mid-Autumn Festival.
The song is based on a true story, a memory deeply imprinted in his memory, a pure and innocent childhood told through music. The male musician remembers the simple joy of lighting candles, making lanterns and especially sitting listening to the story of Hang Nga and Cuoi and then looking at the moon, hoping to see the characters in those legends.
Although many years have passed, those beautiful memories and innocent moments of childhood are still deeply imprinted in musician Lang Lap’s mind, becoming the inspiration for him to compose the joyful and gentle melodies of “Nguyet Thu Hy Ky”.
This song was previously performed by female singer Ha My with a sweet, emotional voice and was also very popular with musician Lang Lap.
