The National Learning Service (SENA) has announced the opening of its fourth Offer of In-Person and Distance Learning, making available to all inhabitants of Colombia a total of 313 programs that can be selected until September 8. This initiative is aimed at more than 52 thousand Colombians and foreigners with a residence and study permit in the country, who will be able to choose the program that best suits their needs and schedules.
SENA’s training offer includes five levels: assistant, operator, technician, technologist and technical specialization. These programs are designed to respond to the needs of human talent in each region, offering tools that strengthen students’ skills.
“Quality control in the food industry, commercial management of green businesses, maintenance of industrial automation, are some of the programs that will be found in this national call that also seeks to promote education for the population that is a victim of the armed conflict, for people who are part of the Reincorporation and Normalization Program and the Youth in Peace Program,” said Lizeth Cortez, a professional from the Training Department.
Those interested can consult the available programs, as well as the requirements and schedules, through the SENA Sofia Plus platform. To resolve any questions, it is recommended to use only the official channels of the Entity, such as the website www.sena.edu.cosocial networks, or visit the training centers located in Pereira and Dosquebradas.
In the department of Risaralda, John Edwin Cardona Marín, Coordinator of Professional Training at SENA, reported that 38 training programs have been enabled with a total of 1,040 places available at the main headquarters and in Dosquebradas.
