More than 80 sites were monitored in an area of ​​fundamental importance for the control of the locust plague. In 2015, after 60 years without relevant outbreaks, the locust plague reappeared and was detected for the first time in Monte Quemado, after its entry from Paraguay. These places are difficult to access, so, in addition to pest surveillance, we seek to establish local contacts who can quickly notify any future detection.
