A call to the Minister of the Environment, Maisa Rojas, was made today by Senator DC Iván Flores, pointing to what he described as a real brake on hundreds of projects in the Los Ríos region. The parliamentarian added that what is happening on the part of environmental authorities in the region is “unsustainable, especially in Valdivia”, referring, among other cases, to what is happening with the company Aguas Décimas, “which would allow not only the construction of houses, but also commerce and other necessary services for the community.”

In this regard, the parliamentarian expressed that “the region of Los Ríos and particularly the commune of Valdivia is becoming the territory of the no; You can’t, you don’t want to, and you shouldn’t. We see how the investments pass by because we have more than 300 projects paralyzed in the environmental evaluation system. That is unsustainable.”
