Senator of the Green Alliance denounced new cases of sexual abuse in Congress

Senator Jota Pe Hernández, of the Green Alliance, denounced through his Twitter account a new case of sexual abuse within the Congress of the Republic. According to him, an official would be stealing, drugging and sexually abusing some workers.

This Friday the complaint against the official was filed in the Prosecutor’s Office who has been taking advantage of his position of power and on Monday at 9:00 am he will make his name public.

“An active official of this Congress not only steals from the people under his command, but also He also drugs them to later sexually abuse them.” Hernandez assured.

He also explained that two of the victims reported the individual to the authorities with their own name, along with a “rigorous investigation and a large collection of evidence.”

“Colombians know that many of those who are here in Congress are corrupt. In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about sexual abusers that are also inside here,” said the congressman. Therefore, he will continue to accompany the victims, until justice is done.

The complaint against the Capitol comes a couple of months after that of former senator Gustavo Bolívar, who, despite not giving further details, pointed out that a sexual abuse network operated there.

Reason for which they were faced with the task of creating a gender protocol, and President Gustavo Petro ordered the establishment of an accidental commission to investigate cases of sexual abuse, which is in charge of the senator of the Historical Pact, María José Pizarro.
