jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Ahead of the 2024 CPNS and 2024 PPPK registration, there was pressure from members of Commission X DPR RI for a special formation.
The special formation referred to is the formation of regional language teachers.

“Most arts and culture teachers teach regional languages. This does not support efforts to promote culture, especially in the field of regional languages,” said Nuroji in a working meeting with the government to discuss the Bill on Regional Languages at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/4) .
The issue of the importance of the existence of regional language teachers was also emphasized by the Deputy Chair of Commission X DPR RI Hetifah Sjaifudian.
Hetifah proposed to the Ministry of Education and Culture to open a special formation for regional language teachers in registering for CPNS 2024 or Government Employees with Contract Agreements (PPPK) 2024.
“It is necessary to open special formations for regional language teachers. We also found this aspiration from the kunker. Hopefully we can accommodate this year,” said Hetifah.
According to Hetifah, this is important to protect and preserve regional languages in Indonesia which are starting to become vulnerable to extinction.
