The Iranian media did not say whether there was a connection between the capture of a so-called Israeli spy network and the assassination of the Revolutionary Guards officer. Reuters reports that yesterday’s assassination in the heart of Tehran is reminiscent of previous assassinations in the lives of nuclear scientists and academics by motorcyclists on the streets of Tehran. Since 2010, at least six Iranian nuclear scientists have been murdered, some of them using this method of shooting motorcyclists.
