Senior BJP leader H. Raja has expressed his belief that anyone who speaks against the Governor is a threat to Chief Minister Stalin. Raja also explained why he has withdrawn from electoral politics.

Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi recently made comments suggesting that if he does not approve bills passed in the Legislative Assembly, it is not done in a civilized manner. Additionally, a statement about foreign funds being used in a protest against the Tuticorin Sterlite plant caused controversy in Tamil Nadu politics, with leaders condemning the Governor’s speech as unacceptable.

Supporting the Governor, Raja stated that those who speak out against him could be dangerous for Chief Minister Stalin. Raja also referred to Manmohan Singh’s comments about the Kudankulam nuclear plant protest and questioned who provided financial assistance during the 100-day struggle. He expressed his doubts about any Tamil Nadu politicians thinking about it and suspected foreign or religious intervention.

Raja clarified that he has stepped away from electoral politics to focus on his role as a state president rather than campaigning for individual candidates. He also denied using the word asceticism and stated that he will continue in politics.

CHENNAI: Senior BJP leader H. Raja has said that whoever speaks against the Governor can only be dangerous for Chief Minister Stalin. Also, H.Raja has spoken about why he said that he has withdrawn from electoral politics.

The Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi had said while speaking in a program a few days ago that if the Governor keeps pending the bills passed in the Legislative Assembly, it means that he has not approved them in a civilized manner.

Not only that, the statement that foreign funds were used for the protest against the Tuticorin Sterlite plant became a big talking point in Tamil Nadu politics. The political leaders strongly condemned the speech of the governor who is in charge of the constitution as not acceptable.

Stalin himself could be dangerous:Senior BJP leader H.Raja, who has spoken in support of the Governor, said, “Whoever speaks against the Governor, it can be dangerous for Chief Minister Stalin. H.Raja, who gave an interview to the media in Pudukottai today, said:-

Regarding the protest conducted by Udayakumar against the Kudankulam nuclear power plant, the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in the Parliament that this protest was taking place because some NGOs were given funds from the United States.

The question arises as to who gave financial assistance for 100 days in that struggle… Did any Tamil Nadu politicians ask this question… Did they think about it… I doubt that there is foreign intervention. It was clear that there was religious interference.

Continuing in politics:Answering the question about the resolution brought in the Legislative Assembly against the Governor, H. Raja said, “The DMK government has brought a situation where there is no respect for the decision. What will Stalin say if the Governor throws away the evidence tomorrow? Where has the Governor spoken about it? Those who have completed IAS and IPS are going to take responsibility tomorrow. He has spoken in the middle. The governor is not only a police officer. I request no one to act foolishly against the governor.

Information and data are available. Just.. we raised a slogan in front of the governor’s house.. not to scold the governor… if the governor spoke wrong then go to the court.. if we speak against the governor we will be thought of as a big man.. if the chief or minister.. or.. Thirumavalavan etc. think it is dangerous for Stalin. will go

Tamilisai Soundararajan, CP Radhakrishnan, No. Senior leaders like Ganesan have moved on to higher responsibilities. Thus, I have stayed away from electoral politics as I have to campaign for all the candidates to help the state president. I did not say the word asceticism at all. I have said that I will continue in politics.
