Sennheiser announces the new generation in the Momentum series, Momentum 4 headphones, over-the-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. The global pre-sale starts today (August 9) and worldwide delivery starts on August 23. the headphones are expected to arrive in Israel This coming September, by the official importer, the music basket when their price in Israel will be 1,399 shekels.
This year the headphones received a new design when Sennheiser decided to cancel the folding option of the headphones. Momentum 4 do not fold like the previous generations and as a result the carrying case also increased its dimensions.
The headphones have 42 mm drivers along with 4 microphones, 2 on each side. The microphones are designed for hands-free conversation and also for the noise cancellation system that is embedded in the content. The noise canceling system has been updated, upgraded and includes a Transparency Mode transparency system, so that you can hear the environment without having to take the headphones off your ears.
Momentum 4 Wireless supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX adaptive encoders and A2DP, AVRCP and HFP profiles. You can connect two devices at the same time thanks to the support of the Bluetooth 5.2 standard.
The headphone battery comes with a capacity of 700 mAh and allows continuous listening for up to 60 hours (according to the manufacturer’s statement), listening via Bluetooth and with an active noise canceling system. A full charge of the headphones will take 2 hours, while 5 minutes of charging will allow up to 4 additional hours of listening.
The headphones are sold with a carrying case, a Type-C cable for charging, a sound cable with 3.5 and 2.5 mm plugs and an adapter for airplanes.
