Sensex opened today at the level of 74,413 points with a jump of 537 points. Whereas Nifty opened at 22,592 points with a gain of 157 points. Sensex has made a new record high of 74,501. At the same time, Nifty has also increased by 157 points and made an all-time high of 22,592. All 30 Sensex stocks are seeing a rise. Today many stocks are seeing a rise in the stock market. A jump of 1.89 percent is seen in Hindalco, 1.39 percent in Power Grid and 1.38 percent in Axis Bank. A jump of 2.55 percent is seen in HDFC Bank. In Nifty, only IndusInd and Sun Pharma are seeing decline. Most of the shares are rising in the market today.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, Dalal Street witnessed decline for the second consecutive day. Amid mixed sentiment in foreign markets, investors booked profits in select stocks led by banks and auto companies. Due to this, BSE Sensex fell by 27.09 points. At the same time, this sensitive index of 30 shares slipped by 0.04 percent and closed at 73876.82 points. During trading, the Sensex had gone up to 74151.21 points. At the same time, it dived down to 73757.23 points. Similarly, Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) also closed at 22434.65 points with a decline of 18.65 points or 0.08 percent. Thirty out of 50 Nifty stocks were in loss.
