Sensex lost 372 points in the stock market

The stock market ended negative for the third day in a row on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex lost another 372 points. For this, financial, IT, oil and gas company stocks faced heavy selling
The reason
The domestic market opened with gains as quarterly data from domestic majors was strong and crude oil prices eased. But after trade was negative in the European markets, the impact reverberated in the domestic market as well. As a result, all the gains made in the morning disappeared by the afternoon, stock trading firms said.
In particular, traders said a decline was inevitable as leading companies including Reliance, HDFC duopoly and TCS faced profit-seeking selling.
1,705 stocks fall in price:
Out of a total of 3,463 shares traded on the BSE, 1,612 stocks were gainers. 1,705 stocks came on the fall list. 460 shares remained unchanged.
73 stocks registered a new 52-week high price and 30 stocks registered a new 52-week low price. Market capitalization fell by Rs 88,000 crore to close at Rs 251.04 lakh crore.
Sensex down 372 points: The Sensex, which opened the morning at 54,210.10 with a gain of 323.49 points, touched a high of 54,211.22. Later, the Sensex, which fell as low as 53,455.26, eventually settled down 372.46 points (0.69%) at 53,514.15. The market was volatile throughout the day with ups and downs.
IndusInd Bank is tough
Decline: Out of 30 top-tier stocks in the Sensex, 16 gained. 14 stocks came on the fall list. Of this, private bank Indus Ind Bank led the decliner list with a decline of 3.42 percent. Next to this are Bharti Airtel, HDFC and HDFC Bank stocks
Changed hands for a lower price. Also, Reliance, TCS, HCLTech, Titan, ICICI Bank and others declined between 1 and 1.80 percent.
HUL advances: Meanwhile, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), which took a hit on Tuesday, led the gainers with a gain of 1.97 percent. Next to this, Asian Paint, Kotak Bank, Sunpharma, NTPC among others gained 1 to 1.70 percent. Also, leading corporate stocks including Axis Bank, Infosys, Ultra Tech Cement, Dr. Reddy’s, SBI were among the top gainers.
Nifty down 92 points:
867 stocks were on the gainer list on the National Stock Exchange. 1,061 stocks came on the fall list. In the Nifty “50′ list, 27 stocks were gainers. 23 stocks were on the decliners list. The Nifty ended the trade down 91.65 points (0.57%) at 15,966.65. The Nifty, which had opened the morning at 16,128.20 with a gain of around 69.90 points, only rose to a high of 16,140.00. ,15,950.15 went down.
