sensex today: Stock market situation: Sensex up 600 points !! – sensex gained over 600 market in todays bse market morning update

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex ended 949 points lower at 56,747 and the National Stock Exchange benchmark Nifty 50 284 points lower at 16,912 on Monday amid mounting threats from Omicron. The Sensex opened higher at 11 am today.

The BSE Sensex was up 821 points at Rs 57569 and the NSE Nifty (50) was up 17151 points. Nifty Bank stands at 36,468. In particular, ICICI Bank’s shares rose 18 points to Rs 728 per share. Kotak Mahindra trades 56 points higher at 1942 rupees and India Bulls hsg up 10 points at 253 rupees.

Shares of Nalco traded up 4% at Rs 94.80. Shares of Hindalco and Sail rose 4 points each. Shares of Metropolis fell 4.4 per cent to close at Rs 3109.75. Vodafone – Idea company lost 2 points.
