The Sensex was up 126.99 points at 58,791.32 and the Nifty was up 3.20 points at 17,506.50 in the opening trade today. The Sensex was up 63.10 points at 58,727.43 and the Nifty was up 31.50 points at 17,534.80. Meanwhile, 1480 shares were up, 312 shares were down and 81 shares were unchanged.

Meanwhile, most of the indices in the Sensex and Nifty are down. Indexes including BSE Tech, BSE Metals, BSE Healthcare, BSE FMCG, BSE Consumer Durable, Nifty Auto, Nifty ID are seen declining. BSE Oil & Case, Nifty BSE up 1%.

Top gainers in the Nifty index include Adani Ports, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Coal India and SBI Life Insurance, while Maruti Suzuki, Infosys, Divis Labs, Bajaj Pinserv and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers.

Shares of Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, ICICI Bank and HCL Tech were the top gainers in the same Sensex, while Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Pinserv were the top gainers. Shares including Infosys and Titan are the top losers.

The Indian rupee depreciated by 11 paise to 74.53 against the US dollar.

Meanwhile, the Sensex is currently up 208.50 points at 58,872.83 points, while the Nifty is up 70.25 points at 17,573.60 points.
