Unusual! A man diedor in one elevator behind the explosionn of a lithium battery that he was carrying from his moto.

A tragic incident has shaken the city of China, as a man lost his life inside an elevator after a lithium battery he was carrying caused an explosion.

In a video circulating on social media, which was recorded by the elevator’s security cameras, the exact moment in which the individual lost his life can be seen.

In the 1:10 minute clip, the man can be seen entering the elevator with the aforementioned battery from his motorcycle; however, after pressing the button for the floor he wanted to go to, before reaching his destination, the “battery” exploded and generated black smoke and a loud bang that, however, caused the man to die.

Following the incident, emergency teams and local authorities arrived at the scene to deal with the situation, following reports from apparent neighbors who witnessed the tragic accident.

Authorities are reviewing both the circumstances of the accident and possible safety measures and regulations related to the use of lithium batteries in public places such as elevators. The body of the man, whose identity has not been revealed, was removed from the scene for the corresponding forensic investigations.
