The Court of Zaragoza has sentenced a woman to twenty years and one day in prison as the author of a crime of murder, with the aggravation of kinship. And as the author of a crime of illegal possession of weapons, without the concurrence of modifying circumstances of criminal responsibility, she was sentenced to one year in prison. The Jury Tribunal declared it proven that Carmen VF murdered her husband, Raimundo, before nine o’clock on January 5 with a pistol, shooting “point-blank” in the head while he was in bed. Shot that caused his death instantly. In the sentence, her sister, Isabel, is also acquitted, since the Public Prosecutor withdrew her accusation against her.
