The First Section of the Provincial Court of Madrid has sentenced Guillermo CT to four years in prison as the perpetrator responsible for a continued crime against intellectual property and another continued crime of fraud for selling fraudulent copies of renowned artists such as Eduardo Chillida, Roy Lichtenstein or Edvard Munch. The now convicted man used the mediation of an auction room in Madrid with which he signed a contract on November 20, 2018 and by virtue of which he intended to sell up to a total of 16 works of art that turned out to be copies made by himself. or by a third party under its designs.
