Sentenced to six months in prison for falsifying a disabled card to park

A man has been sentenced to six months in prison and a fine of 720 euros after acknowledging that he falsified a handicapped card to park.

The sentenced person, of Spanish nationality and 62 years of age, approved the consent agreement reached by his defense with the representative of the fiscal Ministeryaccording to the Majorcan newspaper Última Hora.

This is not the first time something similar has happened. In 2021, the Local Police of Bormujos, in Seville, opened proceedings against an individual who used the document of a person who died in a nursing home. And, in 2019, the Madrid City Council received the order to be more exhaustives in the surveillance of parked vehicles with badges of this type after detecting massive fraud.
