The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 2nd that it will hold the ‘2025 S/S Seoul Fashion Week’ with the theme of ‘sustainable fashion’ from the 3rd to the 7th at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and the Seongsu, Cheongdam, and Hannam-dong areas.

Seoul City has produced and distributed a fashion map in Korean and English introducing 30 fashion and beauty spots in the Seongsu and Hannam areas so that citizens interested in fashion and domestic and international tourists can enjoy Seoul Fashion Week.

The fashion map can be viewed online and offline at the Seoul Fashion Week website (www.seoulfashionweek.org), downtown tourist information centers, and DDP.

Seongsu Map consists of 36 stores including domestic fashion brand offline stores Matin Kim, SATUR, fashion and lifestyle edit shops, EQL, and EMPTY.

The Hannam Map contains 36 brands, including GROVE STORE, SIENNE, and EMIS.

The opening stage, which will be held at DDP Art Hall 1 at 11:30 AM on the 3rd, will begin with designer Lee Moo-yeol’s ‘Youser’ collection. Designer Lee Moo-yeol, who developed the brand in 2011, has been active in Seoul Fashion Week from the 2015 S/S season to the 2021 S/S season.

Designer Kim Ji-man’s ‘Manji Studio’ will present show music prepared with artist musician group NELL on stage.

Designer Gomijin’s ‘Maisonnica’ collaborates with pop artist Lim Jibin and ‘Apollon Music’ to produce a fashion show where music, fashion, and art are in harmony.

Designer Park Yoon-hee’s ‘Greedius’ fashion show will feature the mascot of Unilever Korea’s home care brand ‘Snuggle’, ‘Snuggle Bear’, in the costume design and on stage. The production will be done using LG Display’s stretchable display.

During Seoul Fashion Week, the city of Seoul operates an ‘Off Show’ where individual designers hold fashion shows at external locations. Off Shows are events where you can enjoy fashion shows at various locations other than the official locations (DDP Art Hall 1 and 2) where the Seoul Fashion Week runway is held.

Fashion shows by three leading brands in the Korean fashion industry, Big Park (Park Yoon-soo), Caruso (Jang Gwang-hyo), and Slingstone (Park Jong-cheol), will be held at the DDP Design Lab Outdoor Plaza and Seosomun Historical Museum.

Big Park, led by designer Park Yoon-soo, will present a collection that emphasizes ecological preservation and environmental responsibility using archive pieces made of eco-friendly materials at the Seosomun Historical Museum on the afternoon of the 4th.

Designer Jang Gwang-hyo’s Caruso will hold a fashion show on the afternoon of the 4th, decorating the Sky Plaza of the Seosomun Historical Museum as a ‘secret garden’.

Slingstone designer Jong-cheol Park’s stage will be held outdoors on the first floor of the DDP Design Lab on the afternoon of the 3rd. He will present a collection that reinterprets urban sensibility in a modern way using black and white monotones reminiscent of the 1950s and 1960s.

On the 6th and 7th, the ‘Hi Seoul Fashion Show’ will be held with new designer brands participating. A total of 8 new designer brands will present their runways at the DDP Showroom on the 1st floor of the DDP Design Lab.

In addition, Lexus, a partner company of the 2025 S/S Seoul Fashion Week, operates a vehicle exhibition hall. Events will be held at different times with professional photographers taking photos.

Lee Hae-woo, the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Economic Policy Office, said, “Seoul Fashion Week is an important event that supports K-fashion brands advancing into the global market and at the same time provides citizens with an opportunity to experience and enjoy various fashion cultures.” He added, “We will do our best to ensure that Seoul can further establish itself as a city of fashion through this Seoul Fashion Week.”
