The 2nd and 3rd classes of Seoul National University’s ESG Management Executive Course jointly carried out social contribution activities at the ’10th Marathon for the Visually Impaired’ held on the 31st of last month, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government Disabled Sports Association and the Seoul Visually Impaired Sports Federation.

Participants reported that they wanted to contribute to improving social inclusion and accessibility and to building social solidarity through interactions between people with and without disabilities. This participation was evaluated as an effort to effectively fulfill corporate social responsibility and have a positive impact on the local community.

The ‘Eoullim Marathon’ has been held annually since its first competition in 2015, and plays an important role as a marathon and walking competition that aims to promote communication between people with and without disabilities and improve awareness of people with disabilities.

In addition, the 3rd class of Seoul National University ESG Management Executive Course donated money to the Headquarters for the Eradication of Blindness as part of the support for research funds for treatment for the visually impaired. They expressed their earnest hope that effective treatments for the visually impaired would be developed quickly so that more people could receive the light of hope.
