by time news

It has been reported that handicrafts made by Indian artists and handloom items will be given extra importance on the Amazon site.

Popular e-commerce company Amazon has announced that it has created a separate page for selling Indian products. For this purpose, the products are listed separately and sold on the Amazon site as ODOP (ODOP – One district One product).

Amazon has taken this initiative in collaboration with the Government of India’s Invest India and the Indian Industries Association.

Commenting on this, Amazon India said: –

The site will support the marketing of local products and geo-coded products from corner accelerators across India, as well as small business manufacturers and cottage industries.

Emphasis will be placed on the Amazon site for handicrafts and handicrafts made by Indian artists. Customers who are passionate about Indian products can get all the products they want in one place.

Indian culture has a tradition. So we plan to display its production method, culture and history along with Indian objects.

Economic growth will be accelerated as we advance the government’s initiative to promote handicrafts, handloom products and agricultural products. Employment will be created and the rural cottage industry will see good growth. It can make us happy too.
