With the hopes and expectations typical of each beginning, more than 7,700 students began the school year in Mariel on September 4, in the 32 educational institutions of the territory.

María del Carmen Torres, general director of the pre-university institute, presented to the students the team that has the high commitment and responsibility of training students in a general and comprehensive manner: a total of 43 workers, of which 25 make up the teaching staff.

It will be a 46-week course, where new transformations are implemented in study plans and programs as part of the III Improvement of the National Education System,” she warned.

However, we do not have a deficit at this time because the needs are covered with several alternatives, among which stand out hourly contracts, agreements, an increase in the teacher-child ratio and the teaching load, as well as with Inder technicians.”
As part of the closing remarks, Yarelys Chirino, first secretary of the municipal committee of the Party, said that “both the students of this center and those in each of the classrooms in the country have the mission of preparing to achieve better results, achieve the goals that the future holds for them and make the coming stage much more fruitful. They also have the mission of being protagonists in each of the activities carried out, in which student organizations play a determining role.”
